Free Diving Experience for Two

Have you ever dreamed of exploring the deep blue free of constraints, of swimming alongside and interacting with marine life like one of their own? With free diving, you can do just that! The purest form of diving, free divers do not use any equipment. Unlike scuba diving, you swim in graceful silence without the sound of your breathing or bubbles to distract you or the fish. You are able to move through the water with total freedom and enjoy the beauty and serenity of life underwater up close and as never before!

This full-day free diving experience is for the absolute beginner. We will take you and your friend out to open waters to learn how to free dive with a certified AIDA/SSI/PADI free diving instructor. You will spend the morning on fundamental free diving techniques, shallow water skills and safety procedures. This theory session will teach you proper breathing, breath-holding and relaxation techniques, so you will be able to take deeper, more effective breaths and hold them for longer stretches of time.

After lunch, get into the water for your first free dive! You will practice making 1 to 2 minute diveseach time and learn basic finning skills that will help you reach greater depths. While each dive is brief, free diving allows you to immerse yourself fully into the underwater world for a rich, intimate experience. On one breath alone, the ocean is yours to explore!

Number of People
This Experience Voucher is valid for 2 people in a small group session.

Additional participants may join at an additional cost of $1200 per person, up to a maximum of 4 people.

Availability and Duration
This experience lasts for 7 hours, 9:00 – 16:00. You will board the dive boat at New Sai Kung Town pier at 8:45.

This experience is available from April to December. Bookings can be made on Saturdays or Sundays. Bookings must be made at least 2 weeks in advance and are subject to availability.

What to Wear
Participants are recommended to wear a swimsuit and bring sunscreen and a towel. All equipment, including a wetsuit, will be provided. However, if you have your own mask, snorkel, fins or wetsuit, you are welcome to bring them along.

Suitability

• Participants should be at least 15 years old or above
• You do not need a scuba diving certification
• Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver and medical declaration form on the day of the experience.

If you are prone to seasickness, remember to take a seasickness pill at least 30 minutes prior to boarding the boat.
